Theatre Director

“The sweat is real. The risk is real. To fail in front of you, our audience, is frightening. To celebrate with you, our audience, is joyous. We know we are only complete with your presence. Relationships are everything to us. Collaboration is our alchemy.” Heidi Gledhill – Director

Intimacy Direction & Coordination

Choreographing intimate scenes with care and nuance.

Heidi trained with Alicia Rodis and Claire Warden in the United States, certified with Intimacy Directors and Coordinators.

She prioritises storytelling that is both compelling and safe. As an Intimacy Director (for theatre) and Intimacy Coordinator (for film and TV), she ensures that scenes involving intimacy, nudity, or sensitive content are approached with professionalism, respect, and clear communication.

  • Choreography & Staging – Creating dynamic and authentic intimacy scenes while maintaining actor safety.

Consent-Based Practices – Implementing clear boundaries and best practices for performers and creatives.

Risk Mitigation – Addressing physical and emotional safety concerns to ensure a positive work environment.

On-Set & Rehearsal Support – Providing hands-on guidance during rehearsals and filming to maintain artistic integrity and actor well-being.

Let’s craft bold, honest, and safe performances.

“Actors start feeling comfortable, supported and safe. They can drop into themselves. Slowly, as the story starts to slip into their bodies, they feel safe to really connect in new ways.”

– Heidi Gledhill
